Original concept & design exclusively for Bismillah Babe: Inspired by the free will we are all divinely granted, Sailor Azadi is an homage to the women across the globe who have been denied their free will and the relentless fight to get it back.
Look closely at Sailor Azadi and you'll see her sword with traditional Indonesian print, her henna in traditional East African style, the border of her shirt in North African print, the emblem on her back an homage to the alchemy of Sufi teachings, her veil embroidered in traditional West Asian motif with South Asian border + her gold jewelry (24k duh 💅).
Azadi translates to freedom in Farsi and many other Central and South Asian languages.
